What runs in your browser
The translator is a static page. Your text is held only in the page while you use it and is never saved to our servers — there are none. Closing or refreshing the tab clears everything.
The translation service
To produce a translation, the text you enter is sent to a third-party translation API over a secure connection. That provider processes the request to return the translation and is bound by its own privacy terms. Avoid pasting passwords, financial details, or other sensitive personal information into any online translator, including this one.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If basic, privacy-respecting analytics are ever added, this notice will be updated to say so.
Speech
The “listen” feature uses your browser's built-in speech engine. The text is read locally by your device or browser; nothing extra is sent by us for this feature.
